With the increasing adoption of Common Data Environment (CDE) to manage and share project information across multiple stakeholders within Singapore Built Environment (BE) sector, it is crucial to establish a National Annex of ISO 19650-2 for information management of local projects. This helps to improve collaboration between stakeholders, ensure data quality and maintain a single source of truth, enable data-driven decision making, and maximise the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in data analysis.
The National Annex of ISO 19650-2 is developed as a Singapore-specific adaptation of the international ISO 19650-2 standard, aligning global best practices with local norms in terms of file and folder naming conventions, metadata, and workflow.
